I dont think individual blogs would be a good idea, considering the near death of the forum. One centralised blog would be a good start. I think we can have people talking about their day on the central blog too, since that would give it a more human touch, rather than just a blog spewing out endless links and nothing else.

News in the world of art and design, technology, etc, would be good topics for blog posts methinks.
